Up Down And All Around
Vestibular orientation is often at the crux of sensory integration therapy. An individual must be able to adjust and react during fast movements like swinging, jumping, spinning, rocking and linear acceleration. They must also be able to orient during activities such as climbing which integrates a variety of skills (fine motor, coordination, balance, etc.). Vestibular therapy although is most effectively administered under the supervision of an occupational therapist, can be often accomplished at home, school or camp with guidance. Children who are motion sensitive must be carefully monitored. We offer you a variety of "vestibular" products that simulate climbing, swinging, rocking, jumping, spinning and linear acceleration. We have products, such as our Rainy Day Indoor Playground, that provide an ideal tool for itinerant therapists, a school, home or clinic setting where either budgets are tight or a less permanent system is desired. We also have a variety of more institutional products that can fulfill your clients needs to be vestibualrly stimulated.
