Balls For Therapy

It's the most basic form of enjoyment for a child (and adult)...playing with a ball. For most of us, it was our first toy. Balls have come a long way since we were children. The manufacturing processes today enable us to basically create some of the most visually appealing and wonderful feeling balls ever to bounce. We can even make balls that flash lights (see our Flash Ball in the Abilitations catalog) for children who need to work on focusing. We can make balls that ring for the visually impaired or for those who require auditory feedback. We have designed balls with a variety of textures from bumpy, to smooth, to soft. These balls are ideal for children who require more defined tactile input. Many of our balls have a low bounce or don't bounce at all, which eliminates having to chase them (see our Success Ball in the Abilitations catalog).

Balls provide a wonderful tool to send home with parents from a clinic. We, therefore, offer quantity breaks on most of our balls to enable you to order them in quantity for your clients or for a school. A ball can be taken into nearly any environment, from a clinic to school to home. Many of them can even be used in the water (see our Aquatic Ball pack in the Abilitations catalog). The possibilities are endless, but if you run out of your own ideas, just ask a kid.
